Most Stressful Subject of the Year

A little sneak preview of what 3rd year med. school in Moscow/Russia will be like..
basically,u have approximately 9 subjects for 1st sem,12 for the 2nd..I'm not sure what other unis in russia will be having but my timetable is kinda screwed up..rumours says that they planning to take more of our senior years subjects and cramp it into our year to shorten our years by 1 sem..well,i'm not sure how tru is it but it sounds like a good idea..
anyhow,as for me,3rd year of med school in moscow is not a honeymoon year at all..it doesn't even give the sweet taste..probably because i get a few hardcore teachers this years,but not too hardcore to fail u until next year though..

2 killer subjects which i find not to joke with this year:
i. pharmacology(enough said)
2. topography anatomy a.k.a TopAn

well,i'm just gonna talk about topan..topan is a subject,taught fully in Russian..so if you are not able to pick up Russian that well by 3rd year,it might "slight problem"..yea,just slight..cuz,as for me,i have a teacher who gives weekly test for this subject..no matter how,u still have to learn the language..this is because,if u dun pass this weeks test,u can't do the next weeks test..and if u can't do the next weeks test,u can't do control(a bigger test)..if u can't clear ur controls,u cannot sit for your credit test..no credit test,dun even think about doing exam..kinda simple right?let me summarize:

no test-->no control-->no credit test-->no finals

so,what can we do?one way,one word---> STUDY (pronounce as STAR-DEEE)

a little briefing about how Topan looks like with pictures

My Blue Topan Book

My Lecturer,head of department,very experienced man and also well respected by everyone..

written "топографическая Анатомия и Оперативная хирургия " which means topography anatomy and operative surgery

random page 1..half picture,half russian

more russians

and even more russians:)

its a subject which will give u nightmare if u sleep right after u read it,trust me..however,it is good learning in this subject because u will end up learning language and a subject at once..this is good in the sense that the following years,i will be able to communicate with russian patients..
